Two-Hour delay, Wednesday, January 30, 2019: There will be a two-hour delay to the start of school in Yarmouth. Because today would normally be a one-hour late start for the High School, we will begin classes at YHS only one additional hour later than the typical Wednesday schedule (10:00 a.m.). Buses will run two hours later than normal for the morning pick-up. The school day will end at the normal time.

Last Thursday, our Music Department welcomed the UMO men's a cappella group, The Steiners, to YHS. In addition to a concert (and perhaps a serenade), choirs enjoyed the opportunity to workshop on a cappella pieces and have a Q & A time about music at the college level.

Coordinated by Ella Buchanan, over 30 students & community members participated in a RAD women's self defense course at YHS. We hope to make this part of our Health Science curriculum in the future!

It's time for the YHS Career Exploration Program to kick off. If you, or someone you know, would like to host a student in March for 3 days, please check the information at http://bit.ly/yhscep and get in touch with the office. #yhslearns
