Free and Reduced Meals

School breakfast and lunch meals will be available to all enrolled students at no charge for the 2022-2023 school year, regardless of household income. This is fantastic news for all families for many reasons, but to make the most of this program and others provided by the federal government, we ask that all qualifying families fill out our Meal Benefit Application online. To qualify, your household size must earn the amount listed or less on the guidelines below. Printed applications are available at every school office. You may also print the application at the bottom of this page and drop it off at Yarmouth High School or mail it to:

Federal reimbursements from school meals fund many academic resources. This benefits all Maine children. These programs include Title 1 Schools, the Elementary & Secondary Education Act (ESEA), Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA), State funding for schools, before/after school programs, summer school programs, academic programming and grant opportunities initiated by the Maine Department of Education, teacher student loan forgiveness, and much more.

By completing the Meal Benefit Application, you are directly investing in your child’s education and the children and families in your community.

The application is completely confidential and takes just a few moments to complete.

Please assist us in securing all possible resources for our schools by completing the application today!

If you have any questions feel free to contact the Director of School Nutrition at  blair_currier@yarmouthschools.org .
