The Hour of Code is a national campaign to introduce students to computer science during Computer Science Education Week. On Thursday, the 9th grade participated in activities designed to spark creativity. After a kick off from Julianna and Jake from Tyler Technologies, students had a choice of various coding activities, creating with soft circuits, solving puzzles on a Turing Tumble, experiencing Alternate Reality MergeCubes, and learning more about the STEM courses we offer. Students can continue working at home by going to the website bit.ly/yhscodes
