Locker Cleanout  ⇒ Hallway and athletic lockers have been cleared of student belongings.  We have a Lost and Found table near the main office, just in case anyone is missing something!  We will donate all of the remaining items next Friday, June 24.

Class of 2023 Project Grad Planning ⇒  Hello Parents of Rising Seniors, Class of 2023. It may be summer, but planning for Project Graduation gets started in the fall. If you are interested in being a part of planning the important and fun event for your graduate, please contact Shawna Chigro-Rogers at schigro@yahoo.com.

Free Saplings ⇒  The Yarmouth community has been the fortunate recipient of 100 trees as part of an initiative, funded by a grant through Dakini Rising, to plant 500 trees in the state of Maine through local youth organizations.  The Yarmouth Tree Community, the Yarmouth High School, Yarmouth Community Services, and the Frank Knight Foundation have all collaborated to make a plan for the saplings.  50 of them will be planted in September through a plan created by high school students under the supervision of YHS Science teacher Bryan Quigley.

The other 50 of these saplings are available to families in our town at no cost.  We have 10 saplings of five different species: Sugar Maple, Swamp White Oak, Spruce, Balsam, and White Pine that are available to anyone to use on their property.  If you are interested in acquiring a sapling, please email frankknightfoundation@gmail.com. If you have any questions feel free to contact Rebecca Rundquist at the above email address or via phone at (207)-712-6430.
