Covid Testing Kits Available to Families Earlier this week Superintendent Dolloff shared that this is the last week of the state pooled testing program. During advisory on Friday, May 13, YHS students will have the opportunity to take a pack of five at-home Covid testing kits. We have enough kits to supply one five-pack to every student, and if your child is absent or forgets to bring a kit home, they can request one through our school nurse, Melanie Lord.
YHS Concert on Tuesday, May 17 Our YHS Spring Concert will be Tuesday, May 17, starting at 6:30 p.m. with the instrumental groups followed by presentations to our seniors and concluding with our choral groups. We hope you all can join us.
Junior Testing – This spring, all juniors will participate in state-wide testing. This includes three tests: Science (period 2 and 3 on Monday, May 16), Math (period 3 on Friday, May 20), and Literacy (period 3, Tuesday, May 24).
Friends and Family Track Meet The YHS Outdoor Track Team is hosting a very exciting event this year: The Friends & Family Meet on Sunday, May 22nd at 10am. This meet is open to the public for participation, and we encourage everyone to join in! We have a kids fun run, and races for teens & adults. We are hoping to bring the community back together after COVID and provide a place to celebrate the joy of track & field among both future and former runners/throwers/jumpers. We would love for teachers, staff, and their families to participate as well.
