What: Create awareness of the importance of open rivers and migrating fish

When: Saturday 5/12, 10-2pm
Who: All ages; family fun & learn about our Royal River watershed and habitat
FREE Activities:
- Fishing (run by FPC Earth Stewardship; poles & bait provided)
- Canoeing (free canoes/paddles/PFD's supplied by YHS and YCS)
- Fish Stocking (assist IF&W in releasing 300 down trout into the Royal River)
- History Talk by Katie Worthing of Yarmouth History Museum
- Environmental “Fair” (RRCT, Maine Rivers, CBEP, TNC, Trout Unlimited, Friends of Casco Bay)
- Habitat-related activities (lead by Merrill Memorial Library)
- Educational walk/talk, lead by USM Professor Theo Willis to the Bridge and Elm Street dams/fish ladders
