The HMS Robotics Club competed in Maine's Middle School State Championship on Saturday. All 6 HMS teams advanced into the elimination bracket, with 2 HMS teams facing off in the finals. Grace Keaney, Kevin Carr & Vagni Das with their partners from Cape Elizabeth came out on top!
The HMS/PTO Glow Run fundraiser is on! Students who gather 10+ pledges earn a silly string competition with a staff member. This morning, we had our first silly stringing! Thank you to Will P.-R. for his efforts to get pledges and to Mr. Monk for joining in the fun!

HMS Football Update: We have a very committed team of players and run an exciting, fast paced offense and defense on the field. We are looking for new players and continue to accept new players as the season is just getting underway. We traveled to Boothbay this past Saturday and had a great game to start the season. At the end of last school year, the ArtX crew, helped by members of the Civil Rights Team, painted a Welcome Mural, designed by Leah Carroll.
It now greets visitors to our school with the words "Welcome" in many languages spoken in our district.
