The Maine School of Science and Mathematics Summer program:

"The MSSM mission is advanced through our outreach programs including distance education, summer programs and workshops for students and teachers throughout the state.

Every summer the MSSM welcomes over 300 5th through 9th graders to participate in our Summer X program. The summer program offerings challenge the mind and develop interests in Math, Science, and Technology in a variety of ways, satisfying intellectual curiosity and an adventurous spirit. Academic classes offered include Robotics Challenge, Physics of Ballistics, and Real Life CSI. Through our summer outreach programs, students develop the skills to be life-long learners and leaders. Epsilon Camp:

"A summer camp for the exceptionally and profoundly gifted, age 8 to under 11 years, who love math"

"A residential camp combining a family vacation in the lap of nature, it is an intensive student camp & a parent workshop - running in parallel. Epsilon Camp 2012 will be held at Colorado College, Colorado Springs, CO. The two-week camp will commence on July 29 (arrival date) and end on August 12 (departure date)."

Camp Euclid:

"A mathematics research camp" on-line!!!

Camp Euclid is a mind-tingling mathematics research program for middle school and high school students. Participants will encounter solution-defying math problems (which have never been solved before). Mull over and grapple with tantalizingly difficult math problems within a circle of fellow researchers . . . ."

The Great Books Summer Program:

An experience like no other in American education. For over fifteen years, GBSP has gathered exceptional middle and high school students from across the world to read, discuss and debate selections from the greatest works of literature.

The Telling Room:

At The Telling Room, we empower youth through writing and share their voices with the world.

Focused on young writers ages 6 to 18, we seek to build confidence, strengthen literacy skills, and provide real audiences for our students. We believe that the power of creative expression can change our communities and prepare our youth for success both now and in the future.

Davidson Institute's THINK Summer Institute at the University of Nevada:

In search of a one-of-a-kind summer camp experience?

Gifted students interested in a challenging academic summer program should consider attending the Davidson THINK Summer Institute on the campus of the University of Nevada, Reno. This intense three-week residential summer program offers exceptionally gifted 13 to 16-year-old students the opportunity to earn up to six transferable college credits.

Spark is a one-weekend program designed to give our students the opportunity to explore a wide range of subjects. MIT students and community members teach a variety of classes, from urban orienteering to mathematics to Chinese brush painting and everything in between! Imaginarium: Summer Art Camp: IMAGINARIUM is a summer camp for children ages 6 - 12, located in Bath Maine. Campers explore co-creation of a group film project combining hand-drawn animation and illustration with live-action acting performances on greenscreen. Campers focus in on their own specific interests, whether it’s illustrating and animating creatures and sets for the movie or rehearsing and acting to become living characters within the film!
