Painters Wanted: Community Service Opportunity for Clam Festival As the advisor for the YHS INTERACT CLUB, I have been asked to organize a group of students to "whitewash" the booths for Clam Festival. Every year, 12 students are needed to paint the food booths. This will happen on Monday, July 11th from 9:00 a.m. to about noon, and you will receive community service hours for helping out. Interact is a service club connected with Rotary. Rotary Clubs exist all over the world, and they define themselves as "neighbors, friends, and community leaders who come together to create positive, lasting change in our communities and around the world." As the high school branch of Rotary, Interact Clubs carry out service projects on both a local and a global scale. Helping out with Clam Festival is just one of the projects we do each year. You don't need to be a member of Interact to volunteer. I can only take 12 students. Please let me know if you would like to sign up to do this! --Mrs. Walsh

Hi Everyone, In anticipation of a shortage of lockers for next year depending on the number of new students that register over the summer, I'm hoping to have a go-to list of lockers that definitely will not be used next school year. If you do not not use your locker, or have no intention of using your locker next year, can you please respond to this email? Thank you! ~Mrs. O'Brien
