DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS - WHITE DAY - 5/8/2017

posted May 8, 2017, 5:43 AM by Jennifer Lainey

Job opportunity The 1912 Cafe in Freeport is looking for part-time dishwashers as well as cashiers and prep cooks this summer. This is a great place for someone looking for a first time job, as they are family friendly and do not have late hours, like most restaurants. Pay is minimum wage, and employees get tips and a meal with every shift. If you are interested, please stop by the cafe or email 1912km@gmail.com with a brief intro letter and contact info.

Community Service Opportunity Right after school ends (June 26th-30th, 9:00-1:30), I run a Young Authors Camp right here in town at the Yarmouth History Center. We have about twenty kids, both boys and girls, in grades 3 through 7. If you are interested in volunteering at a camp like this, please come and see me, and I can tell you about what kind of work you will be doing. The camp is run by a non-profit group called the Southern Maine Writing Project which means that your time will count as community service hours. Thanks for considering. *´¨) .·´ ¸.·*¨) ¸.·*¨) (¸.·´ (¸.*´ ¸.·´ `·-* Lorrie King, Room 210
