Yearbook Club Photo retake for Clipper Buddies If you are a Clipper Buddy this year, please report to the YPAC lobby during first break on Tuesday,the 14th for the yearbook picture.


Community Service Opportunity On Sunday, February 12th, Yarmouth Community Services will be hosting the 27th Annual Father/Daughter Valentine Dance in the Harrison Middle School Cafeteria. We are looking for 9 volunteers to help us with decorating, serving food and punch, assisting the photographer, etc. Volunteers would need to report at 1:30 and would be done by approximately 5:30. Unlike last year, this is NOT Super Bowl weekend. Please let me know if you are interested or if you have any questions by emailing me at mstrand@yarmouth.me.us. Wear Purple Day - this Friday, 2/10 Stand up! Speak Out! Wear Purple! On Friday, 2/10 drape yourself in PURPLE to show you are taking a stand against bullying.


"Tapped" documentary in the YPAC tonight Hey YHS, This is a reminder that tonight at 6pm is the screening of the documentary "Tapped" at the YPAC. You are welcome to come for part of it then head over to the basketball game or stay for all of it. Please come support the Take Back the Tap effort and learn about the environmental, health, and equity problems associated with bottled water.


Volunteer Opportunity The Maine Chapter of the American Heart Association needs volunteers for the HeartStrong 10K on April 2nd from 8am-12pm at the Ocean Gateway Terminal in Portland. If you would like to volunteer, please contact Meredith McNeil - 207-289-2384 or meredith.mcneil@heart.org.


Community Food Drive with Jared Hey YHS! Jared Conant, a student at HMS, is holding a community food drive at the Yarmouth Food Pantry (116 Main St.) for his birthday on February 25th from 9-11 am. There is a collection tote available in the office here at YHS if you would like to donate soon, but if not then please try and attend this wonderful event! Attached is a flyer with more information about the food drive and all of the foods that are in high demand. If you are interested in volunteering at this event or want more information, feel free to contact Ellie P. or Katie Waeldner and we can put you in touch with the Conant family.
