Community Service Opportunity - this Saturday Good afternoon, YHS! West Side Trail is in need of a lot of volunteers to make this Saturday’s Trail Maintenance Day a success. WST Coordinator, Dan Ostrye, would like to ask you all to reach out to your contacts to ask for help, especially from an outdoor-friendly community. Whether you’re a trail hiker or mountain biker, or just like to get lost in the woods…participation is the key to success. The WST Committee has toiled tirelessly to create riding opportunities in our region and now need to take care of these wonderful resources. Please reach out to your friends and contacts and ask that they come out to lend a hand. We start at 9:00 on Saturday, accessing the trail from the Route 88 trail crossing (Route 88/Lafayette Street, before it goes on toward Cousins Island). The forecasted rain will expose the problem areas and give us a chance to improve the quality of the trail. Join us for a day of Community Service and outdoor work to support our hometown great attribute: West Side Trail. Wear weather-appropriate gear and work gloves if you have them. All equipment provided by WST. Thank you, Dan Ostrye And Yarmouth Community Services
