Dear YHS Parents,
I have a few items for you today as we head toward the Thanksgiving holiday next week.
1. Brenda Whitney, a parent of a ninth grader, has graciously volunteered to be the teacher appreciation coordinator for Yarmouth High School. She is organizing an effort to bring a pie for every staff member at YHS. I have attached a flyer that Brenda put together for this effort. Here is an excerpt: "So if you could either make or buy 1 or more pies & drop it/them off at YHS http://vols.pt/KdnD7W ALSO CALLING ALL YHS Students. Any student who brings a pie will get community service! If you buy one you get ½ hour of credit and if you make a homemade one you get 1hour of credit." Thank you very much for bringing in pies for our staff.that would be wonderful. Please do not contact the school, go to the following web site link at volunteer spot to sign up:
2. I sent out an email to you last week about an important survey that we would like all parents to complete before Thanksgiving break. If you have not done the survey yet, please consider completing it. It takes about 10 minutes or less to complete. When you go to the survey, you will need to put in this code to start the survey: P2016494. Here is the link to the survey: www.endicottresearchcenter.net
If you would like more information about the survey, you can see my original email at this link.
3. This is the week of our fall musical, "Seussical." Tickets are going fast, with some of the shows already sold out. Here is the link to ticket information. I have heard that it is a terrific show (as usual). Many of our students are involved in the production, either performing on stage or part of the backstage and support crew.
4. Please join us for our 1st Annual Yarmouth School District Shopping Event which will be held on email@example.com the Yarmouth High School Cafeteria. The majority of our vendors are Yarmouth School District teachers and staff who are excited to share their impressive talents of crafstmanship and entrepreneurship. We have a great variety of products, including jewelry, clothing, handbags, holiday items, note cards, pet toys, reusable bags, and home goods! Some vendors will be accepting credit cards and others will be cash or check only. For questions, please contact Jill Frame at:
Please be in touch if you have any questions or concerns about Yarmouth High School.
